Verena Fuchsberger is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Human-Computer Interaction, University of Salzburg. She has completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Sciences and Psychology at the University of Innsbruck and recently finished her PhD in HCI at the University of Salzburg. In her research, Verena focuses on the agency of human and non-human actors in HCI and interaction design, which is also the main thread of her dissertation (“Interrelating Materials, Artifacts, Interaction Designers, and Users“). In particular, she is interested in the materiality of interactions, which she investigates also in industrial contexts, such as a semi-conductor factory.
